Laios & Falin

Dungeon Meshi is one of my favorite manga series, and I especially love the siblings, Laios & Falin.

This piece is inspired by a line Laios says from the manga - “Then if I become a monster, I’ll carry you.”

This line carries a bittersweet twist to it after certain events occur in the story, and I wanted to convey that bright, but sad feeling through a nostalgic memory in Laios & Falin’s past.
